Learning Breakthrough Program™

Learning Breakthrough™ (LB) is an alternative treatment program for those with ADD/ADHD. It is a form of “balance remediation training”.

The program uses specialized equipment and balancing exercises to affect the cerebellum, which is a very small part of the brain that is responsible for comprehension. The exercises help participants to better organize the way the brain processes information.

Developers of the program say doing the exercises everyday over a period of time will gradually impact on the way the brain controls the ability to read, write, remember, focus and perform physically. This remarkably improves the lives of those with ADD/ADHD.

The LB equipment is purchased online, there is no local center to attend and all of the exercises are done at home while the participant watches an instructional video on DVD. The equipment fee is about $400.

Critics of the program say this type of therapy is wholly unscientific and any type of exercise will improve alertness. But those with ADHD who are regularly doing the specialized exercises say it has literally changed their lives.
